The harpist might provide all of the music at your wedding, or just part. Typically, you will select music for:
Seating of the Mothers/Families
Processional of the Bridesmaids
Processional of the Bride
Recessional of the Bridal Party and Families
Other music sometimes includes an interlude between readings, the lighting of the Unity Candle, or Communion. In addition, prelude music usually begins a half-hour before the ceremony, or when the first guests arrive.
My rate includes a meeting in my home, where I'll play lots of different selections and allow you to choose the music that's right for you. There is a whole world of options, from the traditional to the unique! Don't worry if the choices seem overwhelming or you have no prior musical knowledge; I can offer as much or as little guidance as you need.
